About the Role
Oversees the daily operations of the Case Management unit, providing clinical direction, guidance, and oversight of case management services. This is a remote position; the associate must reside in Michigan (MI).
Responsibilities
- Provide daily oversight and clinical direction for the Case Management unit.
- Supervise and support staff conducting case management, care coordination, and screening activities.
- Monitor team performance, productivity, and quality to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the implementation and execution of departmental goals, workflows, and operational plans.
- Serve as a resource to staff for clinical and operational guidance.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation, reporting, and case management activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to support member care and service delivery.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and support workflow efficiencies.
- Participate in staff training, coaching, and performance management activities.
- Support occasional field work alongside care managers and community-based staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing with an unrestricted licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in MI or Master’s degree in social work with a current, unrestricted MI LMSW or LCSW license.
- 1 to 3 years of supervisory or field leadership experience.
- 3 to 5 years of case management experience supporting care management in a clinical or managed care environment.
- Designation of Certified Case Manager is preferred.

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze workflows and implement process improvements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Access a plus.
