Supervisor, Billing & Settlement

Supervise and Develop Team

You will supervise and develop a team of billing and resolution analysts, manage day-to-day operations, develop metrics, and measure productivity.

• Distribute workload across multiple locations
• Maintain documentation for all billing and resolution standard operating procedures (SOP)

Resolve Issues

You will address issues immediately and appropriately and inform parties of timely and accurate resolution.

• Work with internal departments to learn other technologies and practices
• Increase knowledge of current routing of freight bills and billing cycle time

Audit and Diagnose

You will audit carrier freight bills, interpret tariffs and contracts, investigate and diagnose potential errors, and duplicate carrier billing.

• Investigate and diagnose potential errors and duplicate carrier billing
• Facilitate and improve the efficiency of the current routing of freight bills

Create Design Requirements

You will assist with the creation of design requirements and implementation of new billing paperwork processing technology.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of audit, accounts receivable, accounts payable, load planning, transportation, or logistics-related experience
• 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Transportation/Logistics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel spreadsheets and data entry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems
