Essential Functions
- Coordinate daily work schedules.
- Ensure the completion and quality of all tasks as established within the work schedules and special projects.
- Evaluate employee performance and initiate corrective action when necessary.
- Coordinate the location’s inventory needs and interface with corporate purchasing to maintain proper inventory levels.
- Work closely with the operations manager to access future staffing requirements and work schedules.
- Conduct daily technician and team leader meetings to discuss job safety analysis and related topics such as safety, operations, and human resources.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve operational-based problems.
- Ensure the established quality standards of the customer are met or exceeded.
- Conduct annual reviews of direct reports and recommend merit increases to ensure compliance with established wage structure for the location.
- Perform nightly administrative tasks, including documenting attendance, work completed, work not completed, customer requests, and providing a status report to the operations/account manager.
Additional Responsibilities
- Make decisions that can potentially stop production at the customer's location.
- Address employee relations issues effectively and promptly.
- Have the authority to make unsupervised decisions consistent with the scope of responsibilities.
Physical Requirements
- Maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
- Ability to move up to 50 lbs., with or without accommodation.
- Ability to perform physical manual labor.
- Ability to position oneself for work conducted in and around confined spaces.
- Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Understanding of the industrial cleaning industry and the ability to lead and motivate others.
- Two or more years of supervisory experience, preferably within the industrial cleaning environment or related fields.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills.
