Responsible for
- Day-to-day activities of specific shift operation including employee group, maintenance and accuracy of timekeeping
- Effectively managing the work load
- Properly utilizing company and client vehicles and equipment
- Reporting all discrepancies to the Account Manager and or General Manager
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Some supervisory/management in shift work environment experience necessary
- Verbal and written communications skills
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a reliable telephone and transportation
Personal and Physical Requirements
- Treat all information as confidential
- Possess the tact to deal with all levels of situations, client representatives, employees and the public
- Must be able to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout shift
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must be able to read, understand, direct and carry out instructions in English
- Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
- Must be a citizen of the United States or possess the necessary authorization from the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS)
- Be able to resolve problem situations with employees and passengers when necessary
Performance Responsibilities
- Must be able to perform all duties of subordinate employees when necessary
- Must be familiar with all pertinent regulations

Schedule
- Schedule personnel daily and furnish copy to Account Manager
- Obtain written approval form necessary use of overtime in advance
- Monitor employee activity and makes adjustments as needed
- Make sure employees follow all regulations/procedures
- Check In/Out sheets to insure all employees have logged in times correctly
- Deals fairly, courteously and tactfully with fellow employees while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Communicate effectively with fellow employees and client representatives
- Make recommendations to Account Manager regarding personnel performance
- Act on and communicate safety hazards and equipment problems to Account Manager or General Manager
- Report inquiries and all other incidents to Account Managers
- Emergency situations are to be reported immediately to Account Manager and/or General Manager
- Respond to inquiries from your leads, employees, client, and passengers in a timely, courteous and professional manner
- Keep leads informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and report maintenance needs
- Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from clients, staff and public in a courteous manner
- Give clear concise direction to leads, coordinators, warehouse, and crews while providing both positive and corrective feedback
- Attend meetings and in-services as required
- Utilize appropriate communications channels and maintain records, training files, reports and files as required
- Utilize company provided training materials and resources to develop a safe well trained staff while creating and maintaining a safe working environment
- Must be in proper business attire as directed by company officials
- Identification badges must always be visible
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achievement of company objectives
- Utilize company and client equipment, supplies and resources in a conscientious, cost effective manner
- Perform quality assurance service audits as directed to conform to client's specifications and/or procedures
- Ensure implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Maintain Quality Assurance oversight for operational issues relating to performance and safety, providing suitable corrective and/or preventative actions where necessary
- Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Perform other duties as requested
Pay
The hourly pay wage will vary depending on airport location.
