About the role
The Selling Supervisor plays a crucial role within MCM's retail leadership team. Their primary responsibility is to deliver exceptional customer service by showcasing advanced product knowledge, fostering strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Support the store manager with managing and coordinating the daily operations of the store.
- Perform tasks such as opening/closing the store, checking in merchandise, and making deposits as necessary.
- Supervise sales transactions to ensure quick and accurate processing while adhering to cash protection procedures.
- Coach sales staff to enhance their performance and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Promote and sell products to meet customer needs and expectations.
- Assist the store manager in achieving operational excellence.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of luxury retail experience in a similar or supervisory role.
- Must possess and consistently exhibit the competencies required for the position.
- Demonstrate an inspirational attitude that fosters a positive team environment.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and set/maintain high standards of performance.
- Adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Operate independently, with discretion, and handle tasks under pressure.
- Have excellent skills in using personal computers, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and various software packages like Microsoft Office.
- Show ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
