Job Description
We are looking for a Supervising Producer to oversee the creative and operational execution of our growing slate of kids and family programming. Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day production of the Kids slate, including Juicebox Jury, Recess Therapy, and upcoming original series.
- Lead projects from development through pre-production, production, post, and delivery.
- Partner with creative, production, editorial, and brand teams to execute both editorial and sponsored content.
- Manage production schedules, budgets, staffing, and resource allocation across multiple series.
- Supervise producers, field teams, editors, and freelancers, providing mentorship and creative feedback.
- Help develop new show concepts, production workflows, and scalable formats for kids and family audiences.
- Maintain a high creative bar while ensuring productions stay on schedule and within budget.
- Problem-solve quickly in fast-moving production environments and make smart editorial decisions when priorities shift.
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience producing premium digital or unscripted video content.
- Experience managing multiple series and leading cross-functional production teams.
- Strong creative instincts with an understanding of what performs on social platforms.
- Comfortable producing with children and families, with an emphasis on creating safe, positive production environments.
- Experience overseeing both field and post-production workflows.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance big-picture creative thinking with hands-on execution.
- Based in NYC and available for regular in-person production.
- Experience launching original digital franchises.
- Background in comedy, documentary, or family programming.
- Experience producing branded content alongside editorial programming.
- Passion for building thoughtful, funny, and culturally relevant content for kids and families.
