Production, Supervisor

About the role
As the Production Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily operations, lead and develop staff, and drive safety, accuracy, and productivity across a designated department. You’ll ensure your team meets operational goals while fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Supervise production activities, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements
- Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and track team performance against KPIs
- Train and certify team members on equipment operation, OSHA compliance, and audit readiness
- Develop and manage schedules, assign and monitor work, and resolve operational issues
- Monitor employee productivity and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
- Resolve employee and customer concerns both verbally and in writing
- Maintain personnel records, manage timekeeping, and approve payroll
- Enforce safety policies, manage incident reporting, and conduct investigations as needed
- Uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead a team of hourly and temporary associates
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; BS/BA in Logistics/Supply Chain, general business, or a relevant field is preferred; or equivalent combination of experience and education
- At least three years of proven experience in a distribution or warehouse environment
- Proven experience with problem-solving skills, troubleshooting and analysis, and taking initiative
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relationship building and customer-facing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 5S and continuous improvement programs
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Experience with timekeeping; ADP is a plus
Schedule
Monday–Thursday, 11:30 AM–11:30 PM, with the ability to work outside, before, or after scheduled hours as business needs arise, as well as on-call for emergencies.
Pay
Competitive annual salary of $72,000–$76,000 plus a bonus opportunity. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.
