About the role
We are seeking a Superintendent/QCM to lead a comprehensive, year-long interior renovation project at the Richmond VA Medical Center. This project involves a significant catheter lab buildout, focusing heavily on mechanical aspects essential for heart procedures.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of federal construction projects.
- Review the scope of work and coordinate site visits for subcontractor bidding.
- Manage estimating and bidding for task order contracts and IDIQs.
- Schedule projects and manage subcontractors effectively.
- Ensure compliance with EM385-1-1 and OSHA30 regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of construction experience, preferably on federal government projects.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Project management, construction management, and change order management experience.
- Supervision experience on federal government construction projects.
- Previous experience with Veterans Affairs projects is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, and other computer applications.
- Construction field experience and advanced project management skills.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.10/hr.
