Superintendent -- New Build Steakhouse/Casual Dining -- Travel
Kelley Construction is a multi-faceted commercial and industrial general contractor licensed to perform work in many states across the United States. We offer technical expertise in commercial construction including restaurants, medical facilities, warehousing, fast food chains, large design-build expansions, and general office renovation. We also have broad experience in industrial construction, from liquid storage and containment and petroleum-related construction to pre-engineered metal buildings and concrete construction.
About the role
Manages resources and subcontractors for safety, efficiency, and productivity. Provides overall multi-site administrative and technical management for maintenance and project work at client facilities. This role involves consistent travel to build and renovate restaurants across the country.
Responsibilities
- Oversee job site safety practices
- Manage subcontractors and resources for productivity and efficiency
- Provide administrative and technical management for multi-site projects
- Ensure adherence to instructions, blueprints, and project specifications
- Collaborate with personnel, clients, customers, and architects
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial construction experience as a superintendent (strongly desired)
- Experience in concrete, framing, and finish carpentry
- Strong managerial and communication skills
- Familiarity with computers and company software
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work in the U.S.
- Willingness to travel consistently
