Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Directly supervises and coordinates the activities of all Supervisors in prep, paving, concrete, excavation, striping and sealcoat operations.
- Plans, schedules, coordinates, and monitors crew activities with the VP of Operations and Director of Scheduling.
- Provides overall direction to Team Members regarding Libs Paving standards, work quality, quantity of work to be performed, performance and accountability.
- Daily meets with supervisors to review the work for the day.
- Works closely with scheduling to identify, verify and manage any scheduling conflicts to ensure the needs of all Teams are being met.
- Must be able to recognize and address issues or problems with Teams and provide effective resolutions.
- Follows all policies and procedures established by Libs Paving Co., Inc. and ensures policies and procedures are adhered to by team members.
- Follows direction by Libs Paving Senior Management team.
- Assists in inspecting work site for potential hazards or safety concerns.
- Review and Monitor daily job reports in Pave Day.
- Maintain a high level of discipline and professionalism as a representative of Libs Paving Co.
- Able to ensure the consistent and fair application of all Libs Paving policies and procedures.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine work requirements.
- Must be available for continuing education and training.
- Takes necessary precautions to ensure job is being done and team members are working in the safest manner possible.
- Is mindful of their personal safety as well as safety of team members and customers.
- Effectively communicates with other team members with the ability to listen to other Team members’ ideas, suggestions, and concerns.
- Adheres to all safety rules established in the Libs Paving Safety Program.
Qualifications, Education And Physical Demands
- Must have a Leadership Mindset.
- Must have Attention to Detail with Good Organization Skills.
- Must be dependable with good to excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Minimum of 5 years Construction industry experience knowledge or training preferred.
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 75lbs.
- Must be able to withstand high noise level environments.
- Must be able to withstand various climate conditions including extreme heat and humidity.
