About the role

Skanska is searching for a dynamic Superintendent 1 (Area) - Semiconductor to oversee field operations in assigned areas or aspects of the project. This role ensures work is performed in a safe, timely, profitable, and ethical manner, in accordance with contract documents, design, budget, and schedule. The Superintendent directly supervises field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents.

Candidates with experience working in cleanroom environments and supporting complex manufacturing, process, and mission-critical facility projects will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure field operations are performed safely, on time, profitably, and ethically
  • Supervise field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents
  • Manage subcontractor oversight and change order/ticket management
  • Maintain and update schedules, including look-ahead schedules
  • Read and deliver on plans and specifications
  • Support semiconductor, advanced technology, microchip manufacturing, cleanroom, and/or other mission-critical facility construction projects

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven construction experience
  • 2+ years as a Safety and QA/QC Cultural Champion
  • 2+ years of successful leadership of smaller fit-out projects or an area of a larger building project
  • 2+ years of experience with change order and ticket management
  • 2+ years of experience with subcontractor oversight
  • 2+ years of experience with schedule updates and look-ahead schedules
  • 2+ years of experience reading and delivering on plans and specifications
  • 2+ years of experience supporting semiconductor, advanced technology, microchip manufacturing, cleanroom, and/or other mission-critical facility construction projects
