Superintendent I (Area)

About the role

The Superintendent 1 (Area) at Skanska is responsible for field operations in assigned areas or aspects of the project. They ensure the work is performed in a safe, timely, profitable, and ethical manner, in accordance with contract documents, design, budget, and schedule. They directly supervise field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work is performed safely, on time, profitably, and ethically
• Directly supervise field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents
• Manage change orders and tickets
• Oversight of subcontractors
• Schedule updates and look-ahead schedules
• Read and deliver on plans and specifications

Requirements

• 5+ Years of proven construction experience
• 2+ years of being a Safety and QAQC Cultural Champion
• 2+ years Successful leadership of smaller fit out projects or an area of a larger building project
• 2+ years experience with change order and ticket management
• 2+ years experience with subcontractor oversight
• 2+ years experience with schedule updates and look ahead schedules
• 2+ years experience with reading and delivering on plans and specs
