Superintendent I (Area)
About the role
The Superintendent 1 (Area) at Skanska is responsible for field operations in assigned areas or aspects of the project. They ensure the work is performed safely, timely, profitably, and ethically, in accordance with contract documents, design, budget, and schedule. They directly supervise field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents.
Responsibilities
- Ensure work is performed safely, timely, profitably, and ethically, in accordance with contract documents, design, budget, and schedule.
- Directly supervise field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents.
- Manage change order and ticket processes.
- Oversight of subcontractors.
- Update and manage schedules.
- Read and deliver on plans and specifications.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of proven construction experience
- 2+ years of being a Safety and QAQC Cultural Champion
- 2+ years Successful leadership of smaller fit out projects or an area of a larger building project
- 2+ years experience with change order and ticket management
- 2+ years experience with subcontractor oversight
- 2+ years experience with schedule updates and look ahead schedules
- 2+ years experience with reading and delivering on plans and specs
