Summer Box Office Student Assistant - IE

About the role

The Summer Box Office Student Assistant position is available in the College of Visual and Performing Arts at James Madison University. The position is part-time and not grant-funded.

Responsibilities

• Conduct point-of-sale computer ticketing sales from the box office including phone orders, in-person orders, returns, exchanges, and unpaid ticket transactions.
• Prepare sales reports and end-of-night reconciliations.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and day shifts Monday to Friday.
• Ability to work under pressure and be very detail-oriented.
• Problem-solving and decision-making are required.

Additional Posting Information

• Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
