About the role
The Bell Attendant at Towne Park is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. This role involves assisting hotel guests with luggage, managing room changes, and providing information about the hotel, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor, using guest last names and salutations.
- Assist guests with luggage, including delivery and pick-up during arrival and departure.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the hotel’s rooms, meeting facilities, and public areas.
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
- Provide directions, assist with reservations, and handle other inquiries.
- Tag individual bags for storage in the bell storage area and ensure safe transportation of guests and luggage.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and order in the guest services area.
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Account Manager.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- One to three months of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read and write standard English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with units of American money.
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems.
- Knowledge of rates applicable to time passed.
Qualifications
- Must complete the Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park.
Skills
- Must be able to read and write standard English.
- Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Must be able to write simple correspondence.
- Must be able to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Must be able to add and subtract three-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
- Must be able to understand 24-hour and military time systems.
- Must be able to understand rates applicable to time passed.

Pay
The hourly base pay range for this position is $10.50-$11 per hour plus $13-$15 per hour in tips.
Schedule
The work schedule for this position is predominantly weekend availability. Shift times can range from 7:00am - 3:00pm | 3:00pm - 11:00pm, with potential mid-shifts ranging from 9:00am - 5:00pm | 1:00pm - 9:00pm, depending on candidate's availability.
