Part Time -Overnight Bell Attendant

About the role

The Bell Attendant position at Stein Eriksen Lodge is a vital part of our welcoming and informative team. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting guests with their needs, and ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests sincerely and make their stay as enjoyable as possible.
• Effectively and seriously respond and deal with guest needs and requests.
• Be fully aware of daily functions in the hotel.
• Knowledgeable of surrounding area’s attractions and points of interest.
• Aid guests at check-in and checkout.
• Tag, store, and distribute baggage.
• Show rooms and property to visitors.
• Deliver items such as faxes, messages, packages, and flowers to the rooms as needed.
• Maintain fires in the fireplaces in the main entrance and main lobby.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional work area (including bell stand, room 11, and entire front entrance in the garage).
• Have working knowledge of PBX console and procedures.
• Respond to all emergency situations, and know all the safety and emergency procedures and how to act upon them.
• Demonstrate an outgoing and pleasant attitude with all the guests and employees.
• Take all necessary measures to help the guests and fellow employees.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
