About the role
Vogel Law Firm is seeking summer associates for the summer of 2027. Applications are open to second-year law students and first-year students whose first-semester transcripts are available.
Responsibilities
- Participate in various areas of law including civil litigation, criminal defense, personal injury, health care law, education law, employment and labor law, bankruptcy, governmental affairs, real estate, business/corporate practice, environmental law, water law, land use, oil, gas, wind and energy law, and estate planning.
- Work on assigned projects during weekly meetings with attorneys in the Bismarck and Fargo offices.
- Observe and participate in trial, deposition, motion hearing, client meeting, and mediation experiences.
- Engage in social activities such as lunches, trips to the coffee or pastry shop, and family outings.
Requirements
Applications should include a cover letter, resume, references, writing sample, and law school transcript. Applicants should have excellent legal research and writing skills, and strong academic credentials.
