About the role

Rockefeller Capital Management offers a distinctive Summer Analyst Program experience as a premier independent financial advisory firm. Our diversified businesses, boutique size, and entrepreneurial culture shape a dynamic, personalized experience for our Analysts. Our Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management.

Responsibilities

  • Support the practice management initiatives by maintaining project plans, trackers, timelines, action logs, meeting notes, and follow-up items; help ensure workstreams remain organized and moving forward.
  • Assist in collecting, organizing, and summarizing business inputs and support data related to advisor teams, business planning, team structure, growth opportunities, operational processes, and engagement activities.
  • Create and maintain Excel-based tools, dashboards, templates, and reporting materials that help the Practice Management Team assess needs, monitor progress, identify themes, and support decision-making.
  • Aid in preparation for advisor business planning sessions, team assessments, strategy workshops, and follow-up execution by organizing pre-read materials, data summaries, agendas, outputs, and next-step documentation.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across practice management, regional teams, business technology, operations, and other firm resources to gather information and support coordinated execution.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve consistency, strengthen documentation, and convert recurring work into reusable templates, checklists, or standard operating tools.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, data analytics, management, operations, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize data, identify themes, summarize findings, and translate information into actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; comfort building structured trackers, tables, charts, summaries, and presentation-ready materials.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, professional materials for business audiences.

The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $35.00/hour. Hourly rate for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.
