Summer Analyst - Wealth Planning

About the role

The Summer Analyst is a member of the Global Family Office Wealth Planning Center. The Wealth Planning Center is charged with coordinating the creation and implementation of financial plans for the firm's Wealth Advisory divisions. In this capacity, the Wealth Planning Analyst will conduct in-depth data collection, analysis, and data entry with the aim of creating a strong financial plan. Analysts have and will continue to build a broad knowledge base in financial planning, estate and gift taxes, philanthropy, insurance, income tax planning, and investment management. This role is a key member of the collaborative, team-centric approach to client service across the firm’s Wealth Advisory divisions.

Rockefeller Capital Management offers a distinctive ten-week (June–August) Summer Analyst Program designed to provide an immersive experience in the firm’s culture and day-to-day activities. Key highlights include:

• Mentorship program to support learning and development

Responsibilities

• Gather extensive financial information to drive plan creation
• Enter client information into planning software
• Schedule and prepare materials for client meetings
• Leverage financial data to identify possible solutions to meet client needs and goals
• Engage specialists and partners to address client needs and deliver solutions
• Monitor and update client information and plan changes on a consistent basis
• Create and maintain client spending analysis reports
• Review and summarize estate planning documents to map out client estate flows
• Help identify areas where AI can create efficiencies in the production of deliverables

Requirements

• Projected 2028 graduate in good standing at their school
• Interest in the financial services industry and eagerness to learn and make an impact

• Working knowledge of Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Enthusiastic and positive approach to problem-solving and client service
• Eagerness to learn new and evolving complex topics

Pay

The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $35.00/hour. Hourly rate will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
