Summer 2027 Human Resources Internship

About the role

Permian Resources is offering a paid summer internship in Midland, Texas for college students to gain hands-on experience aligned with their field of study while contributing to company objectives. Each intern is paired with a manager and mentor who provide technical guidance. Activities include training, field tours, volunteer events, networking with executives, and a culminating presentation to showcase work and internship experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee hiring, pre-employment, onboarding, offboarding, and records maintenance.
• Support the performance management process by helping set goals and conduct performance evaluations.
• Provide guidance and support for employee inquiries and concerns.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution.
• Pursuing or have completed a degree in Human Resource Management, Business or related fields.
• Current level in college: Sophomore through Graduate student.
• Expected graduation: Fall of 2027 through Spring/Fall of 2029.
• Available for internship start mid-late May 2027.
• A minimum of 12 continuous weeks’ availability for internship.

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum cumulative and major GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Lower GPAs in the applicant’s field of study may be considered if extenuating circumstances apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Must be able to handle multiple projects and obtain results in a performance-driven, team-oriented environment.
