Description Summary: Huntington’s internship programs provide emerging talent with meaningful, hands‑on experience aligned to their area of study. Over the course of the interns’ time at Huntington, they gain exposure to key business functions across all segments of the organization. An intern’s experience should be focused on professional growth, skill development, and practical application of academic learning. Interns participate in a structured series of development opportunities, including interactions with senior leadership and career pathing insights. The experience also includes immersion in Huntington’s award‑winning culture through community involvement and team‑based activities. Internships at Huntington are designed to help students build a strong foundation for future career success while contributing to meaningful business initiatives. Internship Opportunities At Huntington Huntington offers internship opportunities for students who are currently enrolled in an academic program and seeking practical, hands‑on experience in their field of study. Internships take place during a defined period of time and are available across all business segments. Rising juniors (Winter 2028 or Spring 2029 grads) may participate in Huntington's Foundations Program, an 8-week, regionally focused experience where students partner directly with a manager and team, contribute to meaningful projects, build professional skills, and explore career opportunities across Huntington and the financial services industry.Rising seniors (Winter 2027 or Spring 2028 grads) may participate in the Enterprise Internship Program, an 11-week, role-aligned experience where students work directly with a manager and team on meaningful business initiatives. In addition to hands-on project work, participants gain exposure to executive leadership, participate in Huntington's innovation project, and build connections that may lead to future full-time opportunities. All Interns Participate In a Variety Of Developmental And Professional Activities Designed To Support Learning And Exposure To The Organization. Depending On Your School Year, Program Components May Include Experience in day‑to‑day responsibilities related to their assigned teamExposure to broader business functionsA structured schedule of professional development sessionsOpportunities to engage with members of the Executive Leadership TeamDiscussions with senior leaders regarding career paths and Huntington’s business areasA team project focused on applying Huntington’s innovation framework to a business‑relevant problemParticipation in volunteer activities and internal events aligned with Huntington’s culture Within the Audit Segment, interns gain exposure to how Huntington identifies, evaluates, and manages risk across the organization. Opportunities may include supporting IT Audit, Data Audit and Business Audit teams through work related to internal controls, technology, compliance, operations, and business processes. Students will partner with audit professionals on meaningful projects while building skills in analysis, problem-solving, risk assessment, and process improvement. These positions are located in Columbus and Minnesota. Compensation Range $21.00-$25.00 Hourly The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position.
