SUDP Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial evaluations, including participating in the development of diagnostic impressions for Substance Use Disorders (SUDs) or Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT).
• Create treatment plans for SUDs and Co-occurring Disorders (CODs), including initial, ongoing, continuity of care, discharge, and planning for relapse prevention.
• Make referrals and provide service coordination and case management for SUDs and CODs.
• Provide counseling, therapy, and trauma-informed care for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Provide education for clients, family, and community.
• Complete documentation in a timely manner (may include assessments, treatment plans, progress and group notes, discharge summary) according to established standards.
• Comply with professional and ethical responsibilities.
• Fulfill supervisory responsibilities for a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Supervisor, or a trainee seeking certification, provided the LADC has been approved as a supervisor by the Board.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a health and human services counseling field, with an emphasis on alcohol and drug studies (preferred).
• Current certification as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) in the state where services are provided.

Pay

$38.54–$47.30 per hour, depending on education, licensure, and experience.
