Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent.
- Possession of valid California driver license and qualify for insurability by the district's authorized insurance carrier.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures including receiving and inspecting materials, supplies and equipment; business practices relating to purchase and shipment of goods; inventory procedures and forms.
- Ability to maintain accurate and current records; operate a forklift; establish and maintain effective warehousing and delivery systems; drive heavily loaded trucks safely.
- Two years warehouse experience (desirable).
- Knowledge of computer operation of inventory and warehouse systems.
- Ability to operate a keyboard and use office machines such as a calculator and computer.
Responsibilities
To receive, store and issue school, custodial and food service supplies.
To deliver and return custodial laundry to all school sites.
To maintain a computerized inventory system.
To perform other duties as required.
