Substitute Support

What You’ll Do

• Substitute Cook: Prepare and serve meals according to Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and USDA rules and regulations. Perform kitchen clean-up duties. Follow health standards and food service training plans.
• Substitute Custodial Worker: Clean and maintain the building in accordance with cleanliness standards. Safely operate custodial equipment and maintain it. Ensure an orderly and safe environment. Demonstrate effective safety skills.
• Substitute School Office Assistant: Type using a computer keyboard with competency in Microsoft Office. Maintain databases and review documents. Assist staff with forms. Manage mail and answer phone calls. Greet visitors and assist with student transfers.
• Substitute Teacher Aide: Assist the classroom teacher in implementing the student instructional program. Follow behavior support plans and accommodate students' communication needs. Supervise students during off-campus instruction. Provide daily self-care needs and assist with special health care procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Experience working with individuals with severe disabilities is preferred.
