Substitute Support
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and serve meals according to rules and regulations.
- Perform kitchen clean-up duties.
- Follow health standards and food service training plans.
Substitute Custodial Worker
- Clean and maintain the building in accordance with cleanliness standards.
- Safely operate custodial equipment and maintain it.
- Maintain an orderly and safe building and grounds.
- Demonstrate effective safety skills.
- Safely use cleaning supplies and maintain them.
Substitute School Office Assistant
- Type using a computer keyboard with competency in Microsoft Office.
- Maintain databases and ensure accuracy of work products.
- Assist staff with form completion.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
- Answer phones, take messages, and route calls.
- Greet and welcome visitors, directing them as necessary.
- Order and inventory supplies.
Substitute Teacher Aide
- Implement the student instructional program as directed by the teacher.
- Support students with behavior support plans.
- Accommodate students' communication needs.
- Supervise students during off-campus instruction.
- Assist with daily self-care needs (e.g., diapering, feeding, hand washing, tooth brushing).
- Follow special health care procedures.
- Assist with student arrivals and departures.
High School Diploma or GED
Experience working with individuals with severe disabilities is preferred.
