Substitute Preschool Teacher

Job Responsibilities

• Work effectively with other teacher(s) in the assigned classroom and center
• Support the social and emotional development of children and use "positive guidance" approaches to dealing with challenging behaviors
• Encourage the involvement of the families of the children in a Head Start program and support the development of relationships between children and their families
• Follow all Acelero Learning policies and procedures related to health, safety, nutrition, and other aspects of center operations

Job Requirements

• A High School Diploma
• The commitment and passion for working with children and families
• Basic computer literacy in email usage, word processing, and internet navigation
• Effective communication and written skills
• An eagerness to adopt our values: Embracing Diversity, Teamwork & Community, Data-Informed Learning, Open Communication, and Follow-Through

Additional Information

• This position is all year round, called in as needed during center hours
• Earns $15. 13 hourly
• Freehold Center Locations: Broad Street and Main Street
• Center Hours: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm

Pre-Hire Requirements

• Two Valid IDs
• Two Reference Letters
• Physical exams and TB Tests
• Fingerprint Screening (CHRI)
• Background Checks (CARI)
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation

Pre-Hire Documents
