Substitute Preschool Teacher

About the role

Join us as a Substitute Preschool Teacher to support early childhood education programs and contribute to positive outcomes for children, families, and communities.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with other teachers in the assigned classroom and center
• Support the social and emotional development of children using “positive guidance” approaches
• Encourage the involvement of families in a Head Start program and support relationships between children and families
• Follow all Acelero Learning policies and procedures related to health, safety, nutrition, and other center operations

Requirements

• The commitment and passion to work with children and families
• Effective communication and written skills
• A High School Diploma or equivalent required, Substitute Certification preferred or Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
• Willingness to complete Introduction to Childcare Profession Certification or have it already completed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Substitute Certification Preferred or Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
• Willing to complete Introduction to Childcare Profession Certification or have it already completed
