Substitute Positions Teachers, Paraeducators and Lunch Recess Aides 2026- 2027

Chelmsford Public Schools is seeking substitute teachers, paraeducators, and lunch/recess aides for the 2026/2027 school year.

Pay

• Day-to-Day Substitute Teacher: $125 per day
• Day-to-Day Substitute Teacher (retired, formerly licensed teacher): $150 per day
• Long-Term Substitute Teacher (more than 10 consecutive days in the same assignment): $200 per day
• Day-to-Day Substitute Paraeducator and Lunch/Recess Aide: $16 per hour

Requirements

• Day-to-Day Substitute Teacher: Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Long-Term Substitute Teacher: Bachelor’s Degree and DESE licensure required
