Substitute Food Worker

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of the assigned menu.
• Aid in delivering food to classrooms and collecting dirty dishes from the classroom.
• Use sanitary washing procedures to clean dishes and cooking equipment.
• Check food deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Store food and supplies properly.
• Date all canned, boxed, and bagged foods.
• Maintain inventory using the FIFO method.
• Monitor and maintain proper food and refrigeration temperatures.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen materials and supplies.

Job Requirements

• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to complete a physical exam and background check.

Pay and Benefits

This position earns up to $15.13 hourly. Benefits include:
