Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and write the English language
- Demonstrate knowledge of food safety basics
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds
- Ability to stand up to 6 hours
- Knowledge of portions sizes
- Ability to work well with others
Duties and Responsibilities
- To serve food to a cafeteria line
- To prepare food in a kitchen
- To perform cleaning activities
- To assist in the effective overall operations of the Food and Nutrition Services Program at different kitchen locations as needed
- To Prepare food items
- To Set food in steam tables
- To Serve food
- To Clean & sanitize all food service areas and equipment
- To Take and document temperatures
- To Unload and put away stock
- To Wash dishes as needed
- To Perform other duties as assigned
