Opportunity Overview Substation Commissioning Manager of Renewable Energy. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) Location: We will provide the onsite location at substation. Per diem available. To work on behalf of the project Owner as a Commissioning Manager on a portfolio of renewable energy (wind, solar, battery storage). You will be responsible for execution of assigned renewable power plant projects and teams as it relates to commissioning, start up and operational turnover. Reports To: Project Manager / Commissioning Director Your Day-to-Day Ensure assigned projects' commissioning activities are performed with high quality and follow all safety policies.Responsible for coordination and management of, EPC contractor personnel, OEM start up personnel, third-party start up contractors, and operations personnel on site, as it relates to site commissioning and startup.Responsible for project reliability at operational turnover with plants exhibiting as little lost time in initial operation.Responsible for compliance with all project contractual documents to include Power Purchase Agreement and Large Generator Interconnect Agreement deliverables with local utilityEnsure Transmission Operators and Independent Service Operators make the interface to ensure project energization dates are achieved.Manage Client's onsite commissioning personnelWork with project's designated safety, engineering, and quality control parties Who You Are Electrical construction and commissioning means and methods knowledge including NEC and NFPASupervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) integration and troubleshootingE&I controls and instrumentation installation, startup and troubleshootingProtection and Controls implementation and troubleshootingReview drawings quality control inspection and Progress reportingOutlook, PDF edit Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) (can maintain complex spreadsheets), document control systems and PowerPointManage third parties and suppliersManage direct report team membersSchedule and planning understanding6+ years of experience in on-site project support for renewable power generation project construction start up and commissioning3 years' experience minimum working for an EPC in renewable power generation project construction start up and commissioningTrack record and ability to work with engineering personnel on technical issues.
