Substance Use Treatment/PHP Clinician

About the role

The Substance Use Treatment/PHP Clinician role is responsible for individual intake and psychosocial assessments; clinical triage, group facilitation in an intensive outpatient setting, care coordination, documenting the findings of evaluations and progress in clients’ medical record; conducting and documenting individual, couple and family counseling, maintaining contact with community resources for after care and providing comprehensive discharge planning services.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work/Clinical Counseling from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work/Counselor Education required.
• Current applicable state(s) license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMSW-CC (Licensed Master Social Worker, Conditional Clinical), or LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) required.
• State license to practice as a LADC and CADC preferred.
• Two years of relevant experience in a substance abuse or mental health setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with clinical methods and techniques used in individual, family and group therapy related to mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
