About the role

The Substance Use Disorder Counselor facilitates individual and group counseling sessions, completes clinical documentation, and collaborates with organizations and service providers while supporting the Turning Point Residential Program.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions
  • Complete necessary clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with organizations and service providers
  • Assist in the day-to-day aspects of the Turning Point Residential Program

Requirements

  • MLADC required or LICSW/LCMHC
  • Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders
  • Experience in the mental health field a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with other agencies
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Complete required documentation in a timely manner
  • Use technology to complete essential job functions
