About the role

The Program of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program provides individualized, comprehensive care to individuals with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and bipolar I and living within the community. The program is an alternative to traditional outpatient treatment that was designed to mimic hospital-level wraparound support to help individuals maintain in the community, rather than bouncing back and forth from the hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments that evaluate the interaction between substance use and mental health conditions
  • Affirm and monitor individuals’ stages of change and treatment progress, adapting interventions accordingly
  • Utilize outreach and engagement strategies, including motivational interviewing, to support participation in treatment
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including cognitive behavioral strategies and relapse prevention planning
  • Provide stage-matched treatment approaches aligned with each individual’s readiness for change

Requirements

  • LADC II, LADC I, LMHC, LCSW or LICSW, required.
  • Previous experience and training in integrated dual disorders treatment, highly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, required.

Pay

Open Sky is proud to have a competitive compensation model for clinicians. In addition to FREE CEU’s and PAID licensure, clinicians are compensated in a range based on current licensure and experience.
