Job Summary
The intern will function as part of the CARS Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. While gaining valuable clinical experiences, the intern will assist with conducting individual assessments, offering direct case management services, and providing crisis response services. In addition, the intern will have the opportunity to learn about operational aspects of community services offered by CARS.
Essential Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to determine appropriate types of community-based care. Assessments typically include a clinical interview and supporting collateral information.
- Provide direct case management services.
- Offer crisis response services.
Qualifications
- Recently enrolled student in a master's program.
- Able to commit to at least two, up to three semesters.
- Minimum of 8 hours worked per week, up to 24 hours a week.
