About the role
New Season is a national leader in opioid addiction treatment and medication-assisted treatment (MAT), providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals on their recovery journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family substance abuse counseling
- Complete patient assessments, intakes, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
- Maintain at least 20 hours of direct patient counseling each week
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care
- Educate patients on recovery, relapse prevention, and treatment goals
- Support patients throughout every stage of their recovery journey
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a behavioral health, mental health, counseling, social work, psychology, or related field
- QSAP I eligible
- Must obtain Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ADC) certification within 30 months of hire to remain qualified to provide patient services
- Substance use disorder or behavioral health experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
