Substance Abuse Counselor (CADC or LCAS-A) – Morganton, NC

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor (CADC or LCAS-A) to join our outpatient addiction treatment team in Morganton, NC. Help individuals overcome opioid addiction while working alongside an experienced team of physicians, nurses, counselors, and clinical leadership in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities
- Complete patient intakes, admissions, transfers, and discharge documentation
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling
- Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of direct patient counseling each week
- Educate patients on addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and wellness
- Identify clinical and case management needs while coordinating patient care
- Collect urine drug screens and patient identification documentation
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation
- Partner with physicians, nurses, counselors, and leadership to provide exceptional patient care
Requirements
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related behavioral health field
- Active North Carolina LCAS-A credential required (no CADC)
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, mental health, or counseling preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
