Job Summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Submarine Electronic Warfare (EW) AN/BLQ-10 Engineering Technician. This is a full-time position based in Groton, CT.

About the Role

The Electronic Warfare Engineering Technician will install, monitor, and service equipment and systems at Company and client sites, perform or coordinate test and evaluation tasks, develop technical/engineering data, implement ECI, train others, and ensure compliance with engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, and service equipment and systems at Company and client sites
• Perform or coordinate test and evaluation, checkout, and certification tasks of AN/BLQ-10 systems
• Perform validations/verifications of various electronic systems related to the operation of the BLQ-10 system
• Develop technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), Technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements
• Implement Engineering Change Instructions (ECI)
• Train others in the operation and performance of the system(s)
• Direct on-site customer interface for equipment/system installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed
• Ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, system specifications and test procedures

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Possession of and the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
• Vocational/technical training beyond high school and at least 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent
• Experience investigating, troubleshooting, and designing solutions to problems in operational hardware and software

Qualifications

• HS Diploma
• Technical (Military/Trade) school/training beyond high school and at least 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent

Skills

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret US Government Clearance

$50,814.40 to $77,001.60, depending on experience and credentials
