Subcontracts Supervisor

For our client, we are seeking a Subcontracts Supervisor to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will oversee high-value and higher-risk procurement activity, ensuring transactions are handled with precision, sound judgment, and compliance. The position partners closely with technical, schedule, and budget stakeholders to keep procurement actions aligned with operational needs. It also supports process improvement, reporting, and guidance that strengthen procurement effectiveness across the organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $117,350 – $176,000 annually Responsibilities Independently manage high dollar and high-risk procurements with minimal oversight Provide procurement expertise to meet technical, schedule, and budget requirements Prepare and present detailed reports on procurement activities Document procurement files and perform contract administration as needed Support small business and socio-economic procurement initiatives Resolve complex procurement issues using established precedents and policies Develop and implement internal procedures while leading teams Qualifications BA or BS degree in a business field 10 years of direct procurement experience, preferably in federal government procurement Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation (DEAR) Advanced understanding of procurement processes and ability to analyze complex information Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage administrative processes independently Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail Benefits Possibility of remote employment with minimal travel required Comprehensive benefits program Commitment to employee success Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
