Subcontracts Administrator

Responsibilities
- Develops and administers subcontracts and other agreements of intermediate value and risk in accordance with client requirements and GDIT policies and procedures
- Administers subcontracts through pre-award planning, subcontract award, post-award administration, and closeout
- Documents all actions in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and company policy
- Supports new business activities including issuing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Teaming Agreements (TA), soliciting subcontractor proposals, negotiating subcontractor pricing, and evaluating proposal submissions
- Performs analysis on proposed subcontractor pricing to ensure price reasonableness
- Provides advice and interpretation of contract requirements
- Team player who is willing to jump in and help other Subcontracts Administrators meet critical deadlines and is willing to at times work additional hours to meet mission needs
- The ability to quickly move from one action to another with a strong memory and attention to detail
- Generate reports or responses to data calls on subcontract activity as required
- Serves as a liaison and facilitator between the program team and the subcontractor regarding contracting issues
- Initiates and maintains a network of communication with GDIT internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of related experience in Subcontracts Administration or Contracts Administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective administrative and organizational skills both written and oral
- Ability to juggle multiple RFPs and subcontracts status and actions
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to operate and negotiate independently and escalating when necessary
- Problem solving skills and ability to juggle a volume of different activities on any given day
- Customer service skills, attention to detail, and responsiveness and highly productive in high stress situations

Schedule
- Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
- Hybrid position working at our GDIT facility in Herndon, VA; must be onsite 3 days a week minimum
- Travel Required: 10-25%
Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $70,658 - $73,999. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
