About the role

The Subcontract Administrator Sr (Level 3) plays a crucial role in managing subcontractor relationships and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements. This position oversees the administration of subcontractor performance, including contract management, change orders, and payment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration of subcontractor performance, including contract management, change orders, and payment processes.
  • Ensure all subcontractor activities comply with contractual agreements and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation related to subcontractor performance.
  • Manage subcontractor performance evaluations and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of subcontractor work into project timelines and budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in subcontractor administration or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, change order procedures, and payment processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with external parties.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and report generation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successful subcontractor management and performance oversight.
