Subcontract Administrator II
Job Description
Subcontracts Administrator II supports the senior subcontracts team in the management of various procurement and subcontracting activities for government and commercial programs. This role involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
- Provide cradle to grave administrative support for the preparation, issuance, and management of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and subcontract agreements.
- Aid in tracking subcontractor and internal deliverables, ensuring compliance with contract terms, schedules, and budgets.
- Maintain and update procurement files, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Support invoice review and reconciliation processes, coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors as needed.
- Participate in subcontract negotiations alongside senior staff to develop terms and conditions.
- Assist in preparing reports, metrics, and presentations to support team objectives and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address subcontractor issues and support program needs.
- Perform additional duties as required by senior subcontracts administrators and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in procurement, subcontracts, or supply chain management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of procurement and government contracting principles (FAR/DFARS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Physical Demands
- Ability to sit, stand, stoop, reach, lift (up to 10 lbs.), bend, etc.
- Hand and wrist dexterity to utilize the computer.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
- May require 10% travel to Subcontractor sites and special company functions.
Special Requirements
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
- Must be able to travel within the Continental U.S. and internationally when required.
Work Location
On site in an office environment which is climate controlled. Initial work location may be Remote or Hybrid.
