About the role

We have an opening for a Subcontract Administration Support Section (SASS) Analyst. In this entry level role, you will support a variety of procurement and subcontracting administration activities with a primary focus on invoice payments and closeout activities for purchase orders and subcontracts in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Administer basic to low complexity purchase orders and subcontracts, primarily supporting invoice payment and closeout activities, from award to completion in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a point of contact to internal customers and suppliers on basic purchasing, invoicing, and closeout procedures with guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain procurement file documentation for purchase orders and subcontracts to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures.
  • Learn and apply established procurement policies, procedures, and processes to assigned work, and seek guidance on unusual or non-routine matters.
  • Support compliance with applicable procurement policies, procedures and business requirements.
  • Analyze routine data and available information to help identify issues, answer questions, and support resolution of day-to-day procurement and subcontract administration matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Foundational understanding of professional workplace practices, with the ability to learn procurement principles through training and on-the-job experience.
  • Ability to learn and apply procurement policies, procedures, and processes with guidance and support.
  • Basic knowledge of automated business tools and standard office software applications, and the ability to learn new systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to identify and resolve routine issues using established policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI tools and technologies to improve work quality and productivity.

Qualifications

  • Coursework, internship, student employment, or other relevant experience in business, supply chain, procurement, purchasing, finance, operations, law, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with government procurement concepts like Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Department of Energy Acquisition Regulations (DEAR).

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and systems.

Benefits

This position may offer a hybrid schedule, which includes the flexibility to work from home one or more days per week, after a probationary period.

Pay

$79,920 - $97,848 Annually
