About the role
We have an opening for a Subcontract Administration Support Section (SASS) Analyst. In this entry level role, you will support a variety of procurement and subcontracting administration activities with a primary focus on invoice payments and closeout activities for purchase orders and subcontracts in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Administer basic to low complexity purchase orders and subcontracts, primarily supporting invoice payment and closeout activities, from award to completion in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Serve as a point of contact to internal customers and suppliers on basic purchasing, invoicing, and closeout procedures with guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain procurement file documentation for purchase orders and subcontracts to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures.
- Learn and apply established procurement policies, procedures, and processes to assigned work, and seek guidance on unusual or non-routine matters.
- Support compliance with applicable procurement policies, procedures and business requirements.
- Analyze routine data and available information to help identify issues, answer questions, and support resolution of day-to-day procurement and subcontract administration matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Foundational understanding of professional workplace practices, with the ability to learn procurement principles through training and on-the-job experience.
- Ability to learn and apply procurement policies, procedures, and processes with guidance and support.
- Basic knowledge of automated business tools and standard office software applications, and the ability to learn new systems and processes.
- Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to identify and resolve routine issues using established policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI tools and technologies to improve work quality and productivity.
Qualifications
- Coursework, internship, student employment, or other relevant experience in business, supply chain, procurement, purchasing, finance, operations, law, or a related field.
- Familiarity with government procurement concepts like Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Department of Energy Acquisition Regulations (DEAR).
Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of procurement software and systems.

Pay
$79,920 - $97,848 Annually
