Studio Leader - Healthcare

About the role

The Studio Leader of the Healthcare Practice at NELSON is responsible for leading a team of Project Leads in delivering projects within the healthcare sector. This role involves managing the performance of the studio and teams, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring financial and project delivery excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize tasks to meet project timelines and deliverables
• Communicate and set expectations with project leads and team members
• Resolve conflicts and have difficult conversations with stakeholders
• Mentor and develop team members
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
• Set and manage project budgets and monitor progress
• Manage studio utilization and workload distribution
• Prepare project proposals and budgets
• Support project leads in utilizing NELSON resources
• Monitor client satisfaction and address any issues
• Participate in professional organizations and events

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited university
• 15+ years of experience in the architecture and design industry, specifically within the healthcare sector
• Experience as a Team Director, Account Manager, and/or Project Manager
• Strong background in healthcare architecture and design
• Architecture license preferred

Qualifications

• Knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, and materials application
• Proficiency in Deltek Vision / Vantagepoint
• Proficiency in financial management concepts
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Pay

$120,000 - $175,000 per year
