Student Worker-Sports Information Worker

Brief Description

Duties:

• Work directly with members of the HCC Athletic Department on projects related to game production, game coverage, and social media/web site posting for HCC athletic sponsored events.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as needed, to cover athletic events.

Special Skills Needed

• Tech-savvy; familiar with Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok and the HCC Athletics website.
• Basic knowledge and interest in the sports offered by HCC.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and Canva.
• Basic knowledge of photography, or the willingness to learn.
• Ability to provide your own camera is preferred.

Requirements

• MUST BE A CURRENT HCC STUDENT FOR THE FALL 2026 SEMESTER.
• MUST BE ENROLLED IN AT LEAST 6 CREDITS.
• UNLESS FIRST-SEMESTER STUDENT, MUST HAVE ATTAINED A 2.0 SEMESTER GPA DURING THE LAST SEMESTER ATTENDED.
