Athletic Department Student Worker

Responsibilities

• Aid in setting up and dismantling home athletic events.
• Participate in routine cleaning and maintenance of athletic facilities, including gym floors, fitness center, and common areas.
• Support game operations by serving as a line judge, statistician, or scoreboard operator.
• Handle laundry duties, including washing and folding items.
• Assist with stocking and organizing concession areas.
• Work at concession stands during athletic events.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support athletic operations.

Requirements

• Maintain satisfactory academic progress.
• Be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours) during the semester of employment, except for summer term.
• Complete LLCC’s mandatory harassment prevention training within 30 days of employment.
• If working with minors, pass a criminal background check.

LLCC Student Workers are also expected to:

• Uphold LLCC’s mission and standards of conduct.
• Comply with FERPA and other regulations regarding confidentiality of and access to student and institutional records.

Pay and scheduling details:

• Student Workers will be paid the minimum wage.
• Scheduled to work up to 20 hours per week at the main campus.
