Job Duties
- Assist with setup and takedown of wrestling practice, matches, and events
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of wrestling facilities and equipment
- Distribute and collect team gear, uniforms, and equipment
- Greet and assist visitors, recruits, and community members attending program functions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the head coach or program staff
Qualifications
- Must be a current Iowa Western Community College student eligible for Federal Work Study
- Must be a current member of the Iowa Western Men's Wrestling Team
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed for practices, meets, and events
Physical Demands
- Stand, walk, and move for extended periods during practices, matches, and events
- Lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds, such as wrestling mats, equipment, and gear
- Bend, kneel, and reach to set up and take down facilities and equipment
- Maintain stamina and focus during extended periods of event preparation and execution
