About the role
The role involves overseeing the training and competition of female wrestling athletes, developing strategies, and managing team logistics.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily practices and competitions
- Develop and implement training programs
- Manage team travel and accommodations
- Collaborate with coaches and athletic staff
- Monitor athlete performance and provide feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field
- Minimum 5 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level
- Proven success in developing and implementing successful training programs
- Experience with NCAA regulations and compliance
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of sports medicine and injury prevention
Skills
- Strong knowledge of wrestling rules and regulations
- Proficient in using sports analytics software
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
