Student Support Paraprofessional

About the role

The Clark-Wilkins School is seeking a paraprofessional to provide full time support services to students in our school.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students
• Manage student behaviors
• Collect accurate data
• Collaborate with colleagues
• Accept feedback and adjust approaches as directed
• Communicate clearly in writing and conversation
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Work with students one on one and in groups
• Collaborate with students, parents, colleagues, and the community

Requirements

• Belief that all individuals can learn and deserve every opportunity to be involved in their community school
• High School Diploma required; College degree and/or paraprofessional certification preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Well-organized, reliable, and independent
• Willingness to learn and collaborate
