Classroom Student Support Paraprofessional

About the role

The Clark-Wilkins School is seeking a paraprofessional to provide full-time support services to students. An ideal candidate will provide instructional support, manage student behaviors, collect accurate data, collaborate with colleagues, accept feedback, communicate clearly in writing and in conversation, maintain confidentiality and professionalism, and demonstrate a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students one-on-one and in groups
• Manage student behaviors
• Collect accurate data
• Collaborate with colleagues and accept feedback
• Adjust approaches to students and situations as directed
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Communicate clearly with students, parents, colleagues, and the community

Requirements

• Belief that all individuals can learn and deserve every opportunity to be involved in their community school
• High School Diploma (required)
• College degree and/or paraprofessional certification (preferred)
